Welcome to The Big B'mitzvah Appeal

Launched by the Big Birthday Appeal, The Big B'Mitzvah Appeal allows Bat and Bar Mitzvah children to share their simcha with children in need. A Bat or Bar Mitzvah is a hugely important milestone in a young Jewish person's life and a time of great celebration. It's also a time when they receive an awful lot of cheques!

If you're celebrating your Bat or Bar Mitzvah, we'd like to ask you to donate just a little bit of your gift money to help children with special needs.

If you're a friend or family member of a Bat or Bat Mitzvah child, you can help in a couple of ways. To find out more, click here

All the money raised in Manchester will go to The Federation of Jewish Services (FJS) to fund an indoor sensory room and an outdoor play area for children with special needs. If you live anywhere else in the UK, please contact us to find a project you'd like to support.

If you give a donation to the appeal – whether large or small – you'll be invited to visit the new facilities once they are completed, so that you can see for yourself what your generosity has funded. You'll also receive a framed certificate of thanks and your name will be listed on a special plaque in the new play area.
